Electrotherapy is a physical therapy in which the therapeutic effect of various forms of electrical energy is used. It uses its analgesic effects, often improving blood circulation and tissue nutrition, suppresses inflammatory activity and thus facilitates easier adjustment of motor functions. The type of electrotherapy is determined by the physician, as well as the duration and type of appropriate electrical procedure. The duration of most procedures is 15 minutes and may only be used after indication by a specialist. Clients of our contractual insurance companies have electrotherapy free of charge.
