Manual lymphatic drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage is a special tactile technique focused on the lymphatic system. It strengthens the absorption and transport functions of the lymphatic system by stimulating lymphatic motor activity, the contractive capabilities of lymphatic vessels, and the internal pulse mechanisms of the lymphatic system. This is a completely different technique than traditional massage, which addresses other problems, and is aimed at influencing deeper structures (muscles, tendons and fascia), acts with more force and increases blood circulation.
