Banya Fest Europe 2026 – this year's unique natural sauna event!

Aquapalace Praha, in cooperation with the World Banya Association, brings the prestigious international festival Banya Fest Europe 2026 to the Czech Republic. On 17–18 April 2026, the outdoor Sauna World at Aquapalace Praha will transform into a centre of traditional banya rituals, natural treatments, and top-level sauna artistry.

You can look forward to the best banya masters from the Czech Republic and across Europe, authentic whisk rituals, themed ceremonies, competitions, and a rich wellness programme focused on body regeneration and mental relaxation. BanyaMaster Europe 2026 Competition

The highlight of the programme will be the prestigious BanyaMaster Europe 2026 competition, where the finest banya masters will compete in the art of traditional private whisk rituals. The competition will take place in a unique outdoor banya sauna with a glass section, allowing spectators to follow the entire ceremony. Thanks to the sauna’s sound system, you will also enjoy an authentic acoustic experience.

The winner will receive the title of BanyaMaster Europe 2026, a unique trophy, and an exclusive clothing set from BanyaMaster.cz. Competitors placing second and third will also be awarded.

 

Experience Traditional Whisk Rituals

Have you been tempted to try a private whisk ritual but have not yet experienced one? Now you have a unique opportunity to see how such a ritual takes place. During the BanyaMaster Europe competition, you will be able to watch the rituals through the glass sauna.

For those who decide to experience this treatment personally, 30-minute private whisk rituals will be available on both competition days in a private setting at a price of CZK 550 per person.

 

Rich Accompanying Programme and VIP Ceremonies

The festival will offer not only competitive performances, but also unique ceremonies inspired by sauna cultures from around the world. Selected sauna masters will prepare special VIP ceremonies with limited capacity at a price of CZK 100 per person.
The ticket will also include demonstrations of banya and herbal ceremonies, during which sauna masters will present traditional rituals and techniques.
You will enjoy the programme in the unique spaces of the outdoor Sauna World – in outdoor saunas, the TeePee, and in a fully transparent igloo.
