Electrotherapy/Electrostimulation/Magnetotherapy

Electrotherapy is a physical therapy during which the healing effect of various forms of electrical energy is used. It utilizes analgesic effects, often improves blood circulation and tissue nutrition, suppresses inflammatory activity, and facilitates easier adjustment of the movement functions. The type of electrotherapy is determined by the physician, as well as the duration and type of the appropriate electrical procedure. The duration of most procedures is 15 minutes, and can only be undergone upon prescription by the physician. Clients of our contractual insurance companies are not charged for electrotherapy.
